We paint homes throughout Lutherville, the old frame houses in the historic village and the ranches and split-levels around them alike. Tell us what you’re working with and we’ll come take a look.
Lutherville started in 1852 as a planned summer community, built by two Lutheran ministers and named after Martin Luther. That original village is now a registered historic district, with pre-WWI homes on big tree-lined lots in Gothic Revival, Queen Anne, and Second Empire styles. Around it sits a different era of housing: Cape Cods, ranches, and split-levels that went up after the war, plus newer colonials.
Almost everything we paint here is residential. Lutherville runs along York Road with I-83 on its west edge, tucked between Towson and Timonium, which is about as central as our service area gets.
The historic village is full of pre-WWI frame houses on big lots, with wood siding and tall trim. They need scraping and priming first, and we plan for that.
Plenty of Lutherville is postwar: ranches, Cape Cods, and split-levels. Inside, a fresh coat and lighter trim color pull a dark, dated room into this decade.
Paint Perfection is licensed and insured, and you get the owner, not a sales rep. Eric is on the job, so decisions happen on the spot.
Not sure where to start on color? We'll work through it together. In the historic district we'll keep to shades that fit the period and pass review.
Walls, ceilings, trim, and whole rooms. Lutherville homes sell quickly, so we get a lot of pre-listing repaints, plus the usual refreshes once people settle in.
Siding, trim, doors, and porches. The older frame houses need their wood scraped and primed, and the postwar homes are usually a straight repaint of siding and trim.
Refinishing your cabinets beats replacing them on cost and turns a kitchen around quickly. It’s a common ask in Lutherville’s mid-century homes.
We handle commercial jobs too: offices, storefronts, and shared spaces. If you’ve got a business along York Road, we can quote it.
This brick home in Lutherville, Maryland was transformed with Sherwin-Williams Loxon XP Masonry Coating, giving it a clean, modern appearance while adding long-lasting protection against moisture and harsh weather. Loxon XP is an excellent choice for painted brick because it provides outstanding durability and helps protect masonry from the elements.
Paint Perfection started in 2020 as a small, owner-run Baltimore business, and it has stayed that way. Eric handles each project himself, so you’re never passed to a crew you didn’t meet at the estimate. Lutherville is right in the middle of where we work, so we’re through here often.

Eric and his team were fantastic. I reached out after seeing their five‑star reviews, and they truly lived up to them. Eric offered a very fair, reasonable price and even finished the job two weeks early. Everyone on the team was incredibly kind, polite, and easy to work with. The quality of the work was excellent, and I couldn’t be happier with the final result. I’ll definitely be using Paint Perfection again in the future and would recommend them to anyone.

Had a great experience with Paint Perfection! I submitted a request for an estimate through their website and Eric got back to me within minutes (over the holidays no less!). Scheduled an estimate appointment for the day after Christmas. He was courteous, professional, and quick. Got the final estimate to me the same day. Quoted me a fair price and had me on the schedule for the following week. Crew came in and did a great job repairing and painting my walls. Would definitely use their services again and recommend them for your painting needs!

Great job and professional team!
Send a few details about the space and we’ll line up an estimate.
Yes. Exterior colors in Lutherville generally requires approval. The county's preservation commission reviews exterior changes in the district, so colors and finishes need sign-off. We're glad to work within an approved palette and help you plan it.
Definitely. A lot of Lutherville's postwar homes have dark trim and tired wall colors. New paint and a lighter palette make those rooms feel bigger and current without touching the layout.
Yes, using a vinyl-safe product so the panels hold their shape, which means skipping the very darkest colors. Some of the postwar homes and additions around Lutherville have vinyl.
We run Sherwin-Williams across the board. It holds color and stands up to wear better than the cheaper lines, so it's worth the small premium.
Yes. Ask about it during the estimate and we'll lay out what's available.
We do, for one year, and the details are written into the contract you sign.
