We paint homes all across the Hereford Zone, the old farmhouses on acreage and the newer custom houses alike. It’s a drive for us, and we’re glad to make it. Tell us what you’ve got.
Hereford sits in the rural top of Baltimore County, part of the stretch people call the Hereford Zone. Zoning up here keeps the big subdivisions out, so the homes are spread across acreage: old stone and frame farmhouses, brick colonials, and custom houses built on one to several acres, with plenty of horse farms in between.
The lots are large and the homes are often big, which means more exterior to cover and more weather hitting it at this elevation. All of our work here is residential. Hereford is near the top of the I-83 corridor close to the Pennsylvania line, so the drive north is longer, but it’s a stretch of the county we cover regularly.
Out here the homes sit on land: old stone and frame farmhouses, big colonials, even a log house. Exteriors are large and weather-worn, so prep matters.
Zoning up here favors custom homes on big lots, so we paint new builds too: full interiors before move-in, plus fresh exterior trim and siding.
We carry full licensing and insurance, and Eric runs the work himself. On a job this far out, you still get the owner on site, not a stand-in.
Not settled on a color? We'll figure it out with you first. Out here that's often classic exterior tones that suit a farmhouse or a home in open country.
Walls, ceilings, trim, and whole rooms. On new construction we paint the full interior before you move in; on the older farmhouses we work around plaster and original woodwork.
Siding, trim, doors, and porches. Farmhouse exteriors out here are large and take real weather, so we lean on solid prep and a durable finish.
Refinishing cabinets saves a lot over replacing them and freshens a kitchen fast. It’s a good fit for the older farmhouse kitchens in the Hereford Zone.
We take on commercial work as well: offices, storefronts, and common areas. If you run a business up this way, we can quote it.
Paint Perfection is a small, owner-run company based in Baltimore, running since 2020. Eric is on every job from the estimate to the final coat, so you deal with the owner rather than a crew he sent. The Hereford Zone is a longer drive for us, and it’s one we make often.

We do. We're based in Baltimore, but the northern county is part of our regular range. For the larger rural jobs up here, the drive is no problem at all.
Yes. We're set up for big exteriors with a lot of siding and trim, and we paint full interiors on new construction before you move in. Larger homes just take a bit more planning.
We do, with a vinyl-safe paint so the panels don't warp, which rules out the very dark colors. Some of the newer custom homes up here use vinyl, so it comes up.
Sherwin-Williams, every job. It's a bit pricier, but it lasts, and out here where exteriors take a beating, that pays off.
